This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the Respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.06.2023, wherein the petitioner has requested the respondent to issue Look Out Circular (LOC) in order to secure the accused person and subject him to interrogation.

2. Heard Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor and Mr.G.R.Hari, learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.06.2023 and to take a decision on its own merits and in accordance with law. This Court is aware of the fact that investigation is within the prerogative of the investigation officer and therefore, this Court can only direct the investigation officer to take into consideration the request made by the petitioner and no positive direction can be issued. The decision shall be 2/4

taken by the 2nd respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
