Respondent(s) PRAYER This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2 to 4 respondents to take up the complaint of the petitioners dated 04.10.2021 and 30.06.2022 for the fraudulent registration of the Sale Deeds dated 23.10.2017 in Document Nos. 10865 and 10866 of 2017 in the Sub - Registrar's Office at Guduvancherry for the offences against the State by impersonation, forgery, misappropriation, fraud, tampering records and cheating and also the fraudulent registration of the sale deed dated 28.08.2018 in Document No.9951/2018 and Deposit of Title Deed dated 28.08.2018 in Document No.9952/2018 in the Sub - Registrars Office within the time framed fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to conduct investigation on the petitioners' complaint.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that by way of impersonation, the accused persons sold the property to one Swaminathan and thereby, usurped property of the petitioners. Hence, the petitioners lodged a complaint before the respondent police, but so far no action has been taken. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 3/6

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 , on instructions, would submit that now current paper enquiry is pending on the complaint given by the petitioner and First Information Report will be registered in due course and thereafter investigation will be proceeded with.
