The Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the patta issued in the name of the 5th respondent and issue patta in favour of petitioner's father in respect of land in Survey Nos.68/3G8 and 68/3G1 to an total extent of 0.14.5 Sudekondapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by considering the petitioner's representations dated 06.06.2018 and 11.06.2019.
2. The representation of the petitioner herein to cancel the patta issued in favour of the 5th respondent has been considered by the 4th respondent and after enquiry, he has submitted a report to the Revenue Divisional Officer.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submits that based on the enquiry report submitted by the Tahsildar, the Revenue Divisional Officer will pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from today.
4. In the light of the above undertaking and considering the progress in the representation given by the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that this writ petition shall be disposed of with a direction to the Revenue Divisional Officer to complete the process within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order with regard to the representation given by the petitioner dated 11.06.2019.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
