ORDER

The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation / application dated 07.10.2009 requesting to allot and permit to run a bunk shop in a place near to his residence.

2.Heard both sides and perused the records.

3.This Court is of the view that the relief sought in this writ petition cannot be considered at this distant point of time. However, the petitioner is given liberty to approach the Vending Committee constituted vide G.O.(4D)No.5, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (MCI) Department, dated 05.10.2016, with a fresh representation to ventilate his grievances, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such approach, the Vending Committee shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
