This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the case in FIR in Crime No.10 of 2021 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Flower Bazaar, Chennai District and quash the same.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition. He also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. It is also submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent-Police that charge sheet has been filed and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.1224 of 2024 before the learned VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai.
4. In view of the submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
