ORDER

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard Mr.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner claims to be the Hereditary Trustee of Arulmigu Arasadi Karpaga Vinayagar Temple, Triplicane, Chennai, managed the Temple of the property and has filed this writ petition.

The petitioner challenges the notice dated 01.09.2004, wherein the second respondent herein, viz., The Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, inviting applications for appointment of Hereditary Trustee to the said temple.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has produced a letter dated 01.06.2009, wherein, the order passed by the second respondent dated 01.09.2004 was canceled.

4. Recording the same, the writ petition is closed as nothing survives. No costs.
