The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 28.05.2025 in Crime No.23 of 2025 for the offence under Sections 351(2), 351(3), 319 read with Section 62, 296(b), 79, 61(2), 3(5) of BNS Act and Section 66(D) of IT Act, 2000 and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, 1998 [ Sections 506(ii), 416, 511, 1/4

294(b), 509, 120(b) and Section 34 of IPC] on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner's mother-in-law/A2 had taken loan through the defacto complainant from three Finances, two of which had been settled and the remaining one loan was yet to be settled, when the same was questioned by the defacto complainant, petitioner claiming himself to be an Advocate by keeping the photograph of the Hon'ble Sitting Judge of this Court in his whatsapp profile had sent several messages to threaten the defacto complainant. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner stating that the petitioner had been indulging in similar activities. He further submitted that, the mobile phone of the petitioner was seized and his Google search engine showed numerous search of Hon'ble Judges across India. He further submitted that, investigation is in progress and the cyber experts are looking into it.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence and the investigation is at preliminary stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
