Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation dated 19.06.2024 issued by the writ petitioner, and consequently the application filed by the writ petitioner under Rule 6(8) of the Tamil Nadu Combined Development Rules, 2019 for grant of an approval for construction over the demised property.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the second respondent to consider the representation dated 19.06.2024 submitted by the petitioner seeking grant of an approval for construction over the demised property under Rule 6(8) of the Tamil Nadu Combined Development Rules, 2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 19.06.2024 submitted by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.

No costs.
