ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order relieving the petitioner from his contract employment.

2. The impugned order has been passed relieving the petitioner from his employment on the basis of arrest of the petitioner on vigilance and anticorruption case. Challenging such relieving order, this writ petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. The petitioner is a contract employee and is relieved from his employment. This Court is of the view that since, a criminal case in Vigilance and Anti Corruption is pending as against the petitioner, at this stage, the relieving order cannot be quashed. At any event, if the petitioner is relieved from the criminal charges, the respondents shall consider reinstating the petitioner in such 2/4

contract employment.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
