The petitioner herein seeks direction to the 2nd respondent to issue necessary order for Sub-Division of property situated at Plot No.97 and 98 Part comprised in Survey No.2/1 T.S.No.80/3 in Block No.1, measuring about 2324 sq. ft. out of the total extent of 6 acres 86 cents, situated at Kolathur Village, Purasawalkam Taluk, Perambur Division, Chennai District based on the application for planning permission submitted by the petitioner dated 04.05.2023 vide plan submission number SD/WDCN/0600372/2023. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents on instructions, submits that the communication has been sent to the petitioner by letter dated 25.09.2023, directing him to produce the Settlement Deed in favour of his vendor dated 10.03.
2004 and the General Power of Attorney Deed executed by the vendor of the petitioner dated 12.03.2004. If the required documents are submitted by the petitioner, the application of the petitioner will be proceeded in due course of law. 3.

The 2nd respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner seeking planning permission dated 04.05.2023 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of submission of documents by the petitioner as required in the letter of the 2nd respondent dated 25.09.2023. 4.With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
