This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to disburse the payments relating to Gratuity, Pension, Commutation, Leave Encashment (Earned and Medical Leave), Social Welfare Fund, IRT amount, 12(3) Settlement arrears, D.A. arrears, last 10 days salary, CRBS amount and all other attendant benefits by calculating D.A. eligible as per newly implemented scheme, with interest at 12% per annum with effect from 01.08.2023, within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.C.S.K.Sathish, learned counsel, who takes notice for the 1st respondent and Mr.R.Venkatesa Perumal, learned counsel, who takes notice for the 2nd respondent.

3.Considering the fact that the petitioner is suffering from various medical ailments and he is totally depending on the terminal

benefits yet to be disbursed to him, to meet out his medical expenses and also to maintain himself, there shall be a direction to the respondents to release all the terminal and pensionary benefits, payable to the petitioner, along with interest at the rate of 4% per annum, as has been consistently held by this Court on various occasions, for the belated payment from the date of his retirement till the date of payment, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
