Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent pertaining to the impugned assessment order vide No.R.D.C(N).C.No.R2/2216/2025 and the final assessment dated 09.05.2025 and quash the same as illegal and further for a direction, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondent herein to re-determine the annual value pertaining to the subject property at Door No.241, Amman Koil Street and Door No.196, Broadway Road in accordance with the correct methodology and levy the property tax appropriately within the limits contemplated under Section 99 of the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919, considering the petitioner's objection dated 12.06.2025.

Mr.R.Raman Lal, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.S.Gopinathan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that they are going to withdraw the impugned notice issued to the petitioner and, seeking liberty of this Court to issue fresh notice to the petitioner.
3. Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Advocate General, this Writ Petition is dismissed, granting liberty to the respondents to issue fresh show cause notice to the petitioner.
