This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal preferred by the petitioner pending in Na.Ka.77426/2022/ Thovasa-1 u/s.75(5)(a) of Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, dated 28.11.2022, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Heard Mr.S.Sairaman, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.S.Ravikumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate appearing for fourth respondent.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he was working as 2/4
Secretary of the fourth respondent society. Disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the petitioner and it ended in termination of service through proceedings of the third respondent dated 25.08.2022. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the second respondent, which was in turn forwarded to the first respondent.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that final orders have not been passed in the appeal till date. It it is also brought to the notice of this Court that the appeal was heard and orders were reserved as early as on 27.11.2023. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders in the appeal pending within a time frame fixed by this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the appeal is pending from the year 2022, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders in the appeal pending in Na.Ka.77426/2022/Thovasa-1 u/s.75(5)(a) of Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, dated 28.11.2022, on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
