ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.39 of 2011 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

2. There is no representation for the petitioner. Learned counsel for the second respondent is present.

3. A perusal of the records would go to show that this Court, by order dated 31.07.2012 in MP.No.1 of 2012, has granted interim stay for a period of four weeks. Subsequently, the said interim order was not extended. That being so, there is no point in keeping the investigation pending. Therefore, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file charge https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

sheet in Cr.No.39 of 2011 as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
