O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.135 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent-Police, to the file of the 1st respondent CB-CID.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite the second respondent-Police registered the complaint of the petitioner on 06.06.2025 in Crime No.135 of 2025, they have not taken any steps to conduct the investigation in a free and fair manner. Therefore, the present petition is filed by the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents-Police, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner a case in Crime No.135 of 2025 registered against the accused persons and investigation is almost over and final report is yet to be filed.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Puducherry), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent-Police 2/4

to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is always open to the petitioner to avail his remedy before the appropriate forum, after filing of charge sheet by the second respondent-Police, if he so desires.
