The application has been filed for issue of certified copy of the sale deed dated 30.12.1994 registered as Document No.2020 of 1995 on the file of Sriperumbudur SRO and consequently direct the 2nd Respondent not to insist for the original sale deed for any further registration pertaining to the property.

2. Even in the admitted case of the applicant he already had the certified copy of the sale deed which according to him the original of which has been destroyed in a fire accident in the office of the Company in liquidation.

3. A report has been also been filed by the Official Liquidator in paragraph 5 that the documents which were kept in the 4th floor of the Registered Office premises of the company in liquidation were destroyed in fire accident which had taken place in the year 1999.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the Respondent would produce various orders passed by this Court in similar situation.

5. Considering the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant the consequential relief by directing the 2nd Respondent

herein not to insist upon the original copy of the sale deed bearing Document No.2020 of 1995 dated 13.12.1994 on the file of SRO, Sriperumbudur, if any document is sought to be presented for encumbrance of the said property. However, the main relief in my view need not be granted as already a certified copy has been issued. The Company Application is partly allowed. 23.08.2024 mka
