O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to remove and replace the Electric Pole and the live service cable that had been laid adjacent side of petitioner house constructed wherein the live service is running over the petitioner's roof in the property comprised in S.No.341/19 to an extent of 1 - 3/4 Cents situated at Nallampalaiyam Village, Sendurai Taluk, Ariyalur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2021.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made representation dated 27.08.2021 to the Official respondents seeking to remove and replace the Electric Pole and the live service cable that had been laid adjacent side of petitioner house constructed wherein the live service is running over the petitioner's roof in the property comprised in S.No.341/19 to an extent of 1 - 3/4 Cents situated at Nallampalaiyam Village, Sendurai Taluk, Ariyalur District and since the same has not yet been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2021 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Official respondents raise no serious objection for this Court considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

5. In view of the above, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
