PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents to provide police protection to fence the property comprised in New S.No.397/3,4,5,6 new Patta No.5331 (Old Patta No.1143 and S.No.397/1B2 A1A1A) measuring to an extent of 3.80 cents situated at Katrambakkam Village, Sriperambudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District based on the representation dated 05.07.2023 in CSR.No.233/2023 and pass such further or other orders.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking police protection based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 05.07.2023. 2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R. No.233 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police. 3.The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4
