Prayer : Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking direction to the learned Family Judge, Coimbatore to dispose of HMOP.No.1647 of 2019 on the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore expeditiously within the time fixed.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks early disposal of HMOP.No.1647 of 2019 pending on the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore. Considering the prayer sought for in this revision, notice to the respondent is deemed unnecessary.

2.The petitioner had filed HMOP.No.1647 of 2019 seeking dissolution of the marrige on the ground of cruelty. From the E-Case Status that has been produced, it is seen that the HMOP is being adjourned for nearly two years on the ground of appearance and counselling only. The respondent is yet to file a counter. Considering the number of adjournments granted for counselling alone, I am of the opinion that the HMOP should be disposed of at an early date.

3.In view of the above, the Family Judge, Coimbatore is directed to dispose of HMOP.No.1647 of 2019 within a period of one year from the date of either web copy or certified copy of this order. This civil revision petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
