This petition is filed to condone the delay of 140 days in filing the appeal.

Heard Mr.S.Yashwanth, learned Additional Government Pleader for the petitioners and Ms.R.Sumithrachakkravarthi, learned counsel for the respondent.

The delay is 140 days, which is opposed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent by filing counter affidavit. Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition as well as the counter affidavit, the delay of 140 days in filing the appeal is condoned.

Accordingly, the petition stands ordered.
