This application has been filed to direct the respondent herein to inform about the public auction to be conducted regarding the lease out the property of Trust property, which is situate at Door No.88, East Madha Church Road, Chennai-600 013 to the applicant as and when the public auction is conducted by the respondent.

2. The direction sought for in this application cannot be granted and prayer has been inartistically worded. If this application is allowed, each and everyone will come up with the similar plea, forcibly mandating the learned Administrator General and Official Trustee (AG & OT) to knock at the doors of everyone before auctioning a property, which is not at all possible.

3. At this juncture, the learned Administrator General and Official Trustee (AG & OT) has submitted that if the applicant is willing to accept the rental amount that is going to be fixed by the AG&OT and enter into a lease agreement for a period of not more than three years, the request of the applicant may be considered, depending upon the acceptance.

4. While declining the request made by the applicant, it is open to the applicant to approach the learned Administrator General and Official Trustee (AG & OT) for entering into a lease agreement, if the terms and conditions are agreeable to the applicant. It is made clear that this observation does not mean that there is a specific direction issued to the AG&OT to compulsorily enter into a lease agreement with the Applicant in respect of the property.
