This petition is filed to accept the cause title. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the amalgamation of Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank with Bank of Baroda Scheme, 2019 dated 01.02.2019, issued by the Government of India was published under Extraordinary Part II-Section 3 (i) in the Gazette of India sanctioning the amalgamation of Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank with Bank of Baroda. 3.

Further submitted that all the branches of Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank will function as branches of Bank of Baroda from 01.04.2019. Customers, including depositors of Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank will be treated as customers of Bank of Baroda. 4.

Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit and accepting the reasons, this petition is allowed and the cause title be changed in the name of the respondent Bank as M/S. Bank of Baroda, Namakkal Brank instead of M/S. Vijaya Bank, Namakkal Branch. 03.01.2022 AT https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
