Prayer: : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ or order or Direction more fully in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of land in Survey No.82/1 with an extent of 1.24 cents of Pitchanoor Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District.

ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of land in Survey No.82/1 with an extent of 1.24 cents of Pitchanoor Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District.

2.Though the petitioner has come out in the present Writ Petition with the above said prayer for the transfer of patta, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 11.06.2008 to the second respondent and the same is still pending with the said authority without passing any orders and therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction to consider his representation and pass orders can be issued.

3. Since the representation is sent way back in the year 2008, the petitioner is directed to submit the said representation dated 11.06.2008 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent forthwith, and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 11.06.2008 regarding transfer of patta on merits and in accordance with law and pass suitable orders thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
