ORDER

Though the above miscellaneous petition to fix an early date to dispose of the main Writ Petition is listed today, by consent of the learned counsel on either side, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. This court heard the learned counsel on either side and considered their submissions and also perused the materials placed on record.

3. The Petitioner only seeks to consider his case for the post of Head Constable in the Armed Reserve. With regard to his promotion, the Petitioner has made representations dated 25.3.2011 and 20.03.2013 to the Respondent, which have not been considered so far. 4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 25.3.2011 and 20.03.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
