ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the second respondent to issue license to run a bunk shop Sai Nagar Bus Stop Opposite to Lakshmi Store, Angadi Ragavendura Colony corner Platform, Virugambakkam, Chennai - 600 092 as per the provisions of the Street Vendors (protection of Livelihood Regulation) Act based on the Petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
