This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.719 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.719 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 406, 420 and 477-A IPC. The FIR in this case has been registered only on 17.06.2016.

4. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations of the FIR, no positive direction can be given to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
