The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 20.12.2003 seeking recognition of the school, run by a Minority Educational Agency/Institution, of whom the petitioner is the secretary.

2. Heard Mr.Godson Swaminathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate (Education) appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is called today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner produced an order dated 13.10.2014 passed by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, by which the said school has been declared as a Minority Educational Institution covered under Section 2(g) of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions Act, 2004.

4. In view of the above position, the writ petition has become infructuous. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
