By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
The petitioner would state that her husband had purchased plot No.58, comprised in SF No.23/1 admeasuring to an extent of 2400 sq. ft., Ganapathi Nagar, Guduvancherry, Athananchery Village, through a registered Sale Deed bearing Document No.2063/1996 dated 30.06.1996 registered on the file of the office of the Sub Registrar, Guduvancherry and after his demise, the petitioner had succeeded to the estate. The petitioner thereafter, submitted an application/representation dated 20.06.2016 praying for survey and measure the land and also paid the prescribed fees and she was issued with a receipt dated 11.01.2016 and since no steps have been taken to survey and measure the lands, she came forward to file the present writ petition.
Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
Though the petitioner as prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representation/application dated 20.06.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
The writ petition is disposed accordingly. No costs.
