Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, to call for the records in Detention Order C3/D.O.No.81/2019 dated 23.07.2019 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of detenu Neelakandan, M/A, 45 years, son of Govindan, Kollaimedu, Senkundram Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District now confined in Central Prison, Vellore before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C3/D.O.No.81/2019 dated 23.07.2019 detaining her husband as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

"Bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3656 Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 23.09.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
