By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims to be in possession and enjoyment of the landed property admeasuring to an extent of 1200 sq. ft. in survey No.11/1A1, 1B, 1A2 in Plot No.9, Sri Sivasakthi Nagar, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kanchipuram District, by virtue of a registered Sale Deed bearing document No.15597 of 2014 dated 23.11.2014, registered on the file of the office of the Joint Sub Registrar, Chengalpattu and according to him, patta stands in the name of the father of his vendor and after purchase, submitted an application/representation dated 07.04.2016 for transfer of patta in his name and despite the receipt and acknowledgment of the same, no response is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

forthcoming and hence, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.

Heard Mr.B.Sundarapandiyan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and would submit that for having submitted the application/representation, no acknowledgment is available.

This Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to submit one more application/representation along with necessary fees for transfer of patta to the 3rd respondent herein within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 3rd respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the said application / representation, if the papers are otherwise in order and shall put the person/s concerned, if any, on notice and thereafter, pass orders in accordance with law within a further period of ten weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the person/s concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
