By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner would state that his father was issued a patta No.86 by the Tahsildar, Sankarapuram, in respect of 65.50 ares in S.No.30/2A2 situate at Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District, and after his demise, the petitioner has succeeded to the said estate and submitted an application / representation dated 06.11.2015 for transfer of patta and it was also followed by a reminder dated 29.07.2016 and despite the receipt and acknowledgment of the same, no orders have been passed and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

hence, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and MR.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and who would submit that for having submitted the application on 06.11.2015, there is no acknowledgment is available and the petitioner has not remitted any prescribed fees.

This Court, taking into consideration the rival submissions and in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to submit one more application / representation in the proper format along with necessary fees to the 3rd respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 3rd respondent on receipt of the same, shall put the concerned person/s if any, on notice and thereafter give a disposal in accordance with law within a further period of ten weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the person/s concerned.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
