This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for having acted wilfully and deliberate disobedience without taking any steps to sanction the retirement and other pensionary benefits to the petitioner, as per the directions contained in the order dated 09.11.2021 passed in W.P.No.19433 of 2021.

2.It is represented by the learned Additional Advocate General that the respondents had complied with the order passed by this Court in W.P.No. 19433 of 2021 dated 09.11.2021 and also submitted that the Government after careful examination have decided to issue G.O.(D).No.921, Home (Police XV) Department dated 27.07.2024 and G.O(D).No.930, dated 30.07.2024, to comply with the orders of this Court dated 09.11.2021 and have sanctioned a sum of Rs.14,379/- at the rate of interest at 7.1% pa for the DCRG principal amount of Rs.7,63,373/- for the period from 09.11.2021 to 14.02.2022 to the petitioner. He also submitted that as per the Pension

Payment Authorization issued by the Accountant General (A&E), Tamil Nadu, the petitioner has been drawn and paid Family Security Fund of Rs.1,50,000/- separately and a total sum of Rs.11,71,779/- under the heads of SPF-1, SPF-2, TLS, DCRG and C.M.Relief Fund have also been drawn and paid equally to the legal heirs of late P.Sekar. 3.In view of the compliance of the order of this Court dated 09.11.2021, the Contempt Petition is closed.
