By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, the learned Standing Counsel for TANGEDCO made a statement based on a communication issued by the TANGEDCO to the petitioner that they have withdrawn the demand impugned in this petition. 3.The statement of the learned Standing Counsel for TANGEDCO is hereby recorded.
4.The petitioner is now required to make a fresh representation / application for a refund of the security deposits made when it obtained a temporary connection some decades ago. Upon receiving which, the TANGEDCO is required to process it as expeditiously as possible and help the legal system by avoiding a litigation.
