Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent 1 & 2 to grant police protection to the petitioner for cutting the trees in his property admeasuring 0.17 Acres comprised in Sy. No. 110.2 and 0.99 Acres comprised in Sy. No. 106/9 totally admeasuring 1 Acre and 6 cents, situated at Pannaiyur village, Pennathur taluk, Tiruvannamalai district.

ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent 1 & 2 to grant police protection to the petitioner for cutting the trees in his property ad-measuring 0.17 Acres comprised in Survey No. 110.2 and 0.99 Acres comprised in Survey No. 106/9 totally ad-measuring 1 Acre and 6 cents, situated at Pannaiyur village, Pennathur taluk, Tiruvannamalai district.

When the matter was taken up for today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the 6th respondent gave an undertaking that he will not interfere with petitioner from cutting the trees and the petitioner has also stated that he will cut down the trees in the light of the Civil court Decree. The relevant statements were also placed before this Court. 3.

Recording the above, this Writ Petition is Disposed of.
