COMMON PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking to set aside the fair and decreetal order dated 07.06.2019 passed in M.P.Nos.67 and 68 of 2018 in R.C.O.P.No.7 of 2001 on the file of the District Munsif Court at Thiruvothiyur, thereby allowing the same with costs.
For Petitioner : Mr.B.Murugavel
ORDER
These civil revision petitions are filed seeking to set aside the fair and decreetal order dated 07.06.2019 passed in M.P.Nos.67 and 68 of 2018 in R.C.O.P.No.7 of 2001 on the file of the District Munsif Court at Thiruvothiyur and to allow these petitions with costs. 2.Heard the learned counsel. This Court also perused the order of the Rent Controller.
3.It is seen from the order that the respondent / landlord had filed even his written argument notes on 14.02.2017 and that the tenant had taken another 18 months to file these two petitions for reopen and recall himself. The learned Rent Controller took note of the fact that this is intended to protract the dispute.

4.These revisions are pending under the caption for adjourned admission since 2019 and as on today, the landlord is waiting for some remedy from the legal system for the last 22 years. Nothing can be a terrible advertisement to the legal system or the institution of Court than to accommodate such prayers. This Court endorse the line of reasoning of the learned Rent Controller and does not find it necessary to interfere with that. After all, this Court should not be seen as promoting irresponsibility in the minds of the litigants, and inclined to dismiss these petitions. 5.These civil revision petitions stand dismissed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 08.03.2023 kas Index : yes / no Internet : yes / no Speaking / Non Speaking order To.
