ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the panel of Assistants fit for promotion to the post of Office Superintendent for the year 2024-2025, for which the crucial date is 15.03.2024. The petitioner seeks to be treated as an approved probationer with effect from 29.06.2016, as per Section 32(2) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Condition of Service) Act, 2016, by deemed declaration. Consequently, the petitioner seeks to extend all consequential service benefits arising therefrom, forthwith.
2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation dated 03.06.2024 made by the petitioner after issuance of notice to the petitioner and after giving an opportunity of hearing to him, pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
