Heard Mr.S.Kingston Jerold, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Kanlaya Raman, learned Counsel accepting notice for the respondent, and with the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider her representation dated 07.09.2015, wherein the petitioner requested for settlement of all the benefits, consequent to and arising out of the order of the Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories, Coimbatore, and the said order is said to have been confirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that similarly placed persons had filed a Writ Petition before this Court in W.P.No.2411 of 2016, and this Court by an order https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 25.01.2015, had directed the respondent therein to consider the representation.

4.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the claims made by the petitioner, there will be a direction to the competent authority of the respondent Company to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2015, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Since the representation is by the Staff Union, the petitioner is directed to submit an individual representation along with the copy of this order as well the copy of the representation dated 07.09.2015 and submit the same to the competent authority of the respondent Company, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such representation being received, the said authority shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
