ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of writ of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents to allow the minor child "S.Karupaiyee" to appear in the 10th Standard Matriculation exams as regular school candidate.

2.I appreciate the stand taken by the learned Special Government Pleader on behalf of the 1st respondent and after discussion, it appears that the 2nd respondent had understood the scope of the grievance of the petitioner and has filed a counter affidavit, in which the Principal, 2nd respondent has stated as follows:

"Further the 2nd respondent humbly submits that he has no objection to allow S.Karupayiee to appear in the 10th Standard Public Examination as a regular school candidate.

The 2nd respondent submits that S.Karupaiyee had paid the Public Examination Fees along with other students

and she was also provided with the required record books for the purpose of the practical examination. She also had attended the quarterly examination.

The 2nd respondent has done all what is needed and required for the student's studies and for the public examination, question papers were sent through the Whatsapp and allowed the said student to write the examination from home in the month of September 2022 understanding her medical conditions.

The 2nd respondent submits that the above said circumstances he has no objection to allow S.Karupaiyee to appear in the 10th Standard Public Examination as regular school candidate."

3.The above statements are self-explanatory. The petitioner grievance are addressed. I wish, all the best to the petitioner for her examination. This writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
