O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to survey his property situated in Survey No.90/2A at Paivalasa village, R.K.Pett Taluk, Thiruvallur District with an extent of 1.77 acres and mutate the revenue records in the name of petitioner and other heirs of deceased petitioner's father.

2. According to the petitioner, 5 acres of land in Survey No.90/2 originally belonged to father of the petitioner. During the lifetime of petitioner's father, he along with his legal heirs sold 3.28 acres of the land. Therefore, 1.77 acres of the land remains with the family of the petitioner. After death of petitioner's father, the remaining property has been in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner and other legal heirs. The petitioner submitted an online application on 10.07.2024 in online application No.2024/0123/01/003865 seeking survey of the remaining property in their possession. The petitioner also submitted a representation on 11.07.2024 2/5

seeking mutation of revenue records and the same has not been considered till date. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents 1 and 2, submitted that the online application of the petitioner dated 10.07.2024 for survey of the land will be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court. He also submitted that as far as mutation of revenue records is concerned, if appropriate online application is filed by the petitioner, the same will be considered within a time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 10.07.2024 and dispose of the same on its' own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. As far as mutation of revenue records is concerned, the petitioner is directed to submit an online application seeking mutation of revenue records 3/5

within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such online application.
