The petitioners have filed this Criminal Original Petition to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.44 of 2012 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case in Cr.No.44 of 2012, after completion of investigation, was referred as "Mistake of Fact" vide RCS No.2/2015 dated 29.06.2015 and the final report was also filed to that effect before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur on 03.07.2015.
