ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims to be the owner of the land admeasuring an extent of 10.5 acres in survey Nos. 10/9, 10, 15/4D and 4E situate at Nochipatty Village, Valapadi Taluk, Salem District, through a registered Partition Deed bearing document No.4996 of 2008 dated 10.12.2008 and submitted an application to the first respondent on 11.09.2015 for survey and measure of the land in terms of the above said Partition Deed by paying the prescribed fees and despite that, no orders have been passed and hence the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 11.09.2015, if the papers are otherwise in order, in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
