O R D E R

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 12.05.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 304 (2) of B.N.S in equivalent Section 397 of IPC in Crime No.43 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other 1/4

accused snatched gold 4 soverign chain from the defacto complainant. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the A1 and A2 were arrested and the the petitioner/A3 and A6 ran away from the scene of occurrence and thereafter only based on the confession statement of the coaccuses the petitioner and A6 were arrested. A4 and A5 were also released only on statutory bail. He further submitted that in this case stolen property was not recovered. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
