The petitioner herein was purchased property allegedly from the impersonator has been called for enquiry on the complaint given by the original owner T.R.Sethu.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that under the guise of enquiry, the petitioner had been threatened by the police to re-convey the property which he has purchased for value consideration.

3. The respondent police cannot act as Arbitrator in a civil dispute. If there is any primafacie material to register the complaint for impersonation and fraudulent transfer, they have to register the case and complete the investigation and file final report.
