ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take proper and necessary action to pay arrears of the salary to the petitioner from the date of appointment [i.e.] 23.06.2020 to till this date thereupon the 7th respondent/school shall continue to pay the salary to the petitioner as per rules and regulation in force in accordance with law. 2/5

The grievance of the petitioner is that the husband of the petitioner worked in the seventh respondent school and he passed away on 03.05.2013 and the petitioner was given compassionate appointment in the seventh respondent school. Despite the same, the seventh respondent has not paid salary to the petitioner till date. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 20.10.2021 and the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 submitted that the proposal of the petitioner has been sent to District Educational Officer and her salary will be paid within a period of four weeks.

4. In such view of the matter, the respondents are directed to pass Order on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.10.2021 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. 3/5

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
