ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.1845 of 2020, on the file of the first respondent.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the de facto complainant was driving his two wheeler bearing registration No.TN-20BM-9227 towards Veppampattu super market on 31.07.2020 at around 05.15 p.m., four men stopped the de facto complainant near Veppampattu wine shop and allegedly threatened the de facto complainant by showing the knife, robbed Rs.1150/- and a mobile phone from the pocket as also took his vehicle. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the accused along with police person also appeared before this Court at the time of enquiry and the de facto complainant admits that the vehicle was also seized and was handed over to him. Further defacto complainant submits that he is not willing to proceed the complaint further. His submission also recorded.

4. Learned Government Advocate [crl.side] confirmed the submission of the de facto complainant.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The proceedings in Crime No.1845 of 2020, on the file of the first respondent, are quashed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
