ORDER

The 2nd defendant has filed the present revision seeking expeditious disposal of O.S.No. 137 of 2020 pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Avinashi.

2. The revision petitioner, who is aged 72 years, seeks early disposal of the suit for permanent injunction in which he has been arrayed as one of the defendants. It is seen that though the suit has been filed in the year 2020, only interlocutory application has been taken up and the trial has not yet commenced. The pleadings are stated to have been completed way back even as early as 02.01.2020.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in the revision, notice to respondents is dispensed with.

4. In the light of the above, this Court is inclined to allow the civil revision petition with direction to learned District Munsif, Avinashi to expedite the trial in O.S.No. 137 of 2020 and in any event dispose of the suit on merits and in accordance with law within a period of seven months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition stands allowed. No costs.
