These miscellaneous petition have been filed to condone the delay of 1/5
182 days in filing the writ appeals.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. 3.Considering the submission made and on being satisfied with reasons stated in the affidavit, this Court is of the view that the delay may be condoned, however, on payment of cost. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in each of the petitions, by the petitioners to the Tamilnadu Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 13.08.2025. On payment of cost, the Registry is directed to number the main appeals and post the same for admission on 14.08.2025. If the cost is paid on or before 13.08.2025, these petitions stand allowed. J.NISHA BANU,J., AND M.JOTHIRAMAN ,J., These matters are listed today under the caption "For Being Mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioners.
2. When the matters are taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that this Court, while condoning the delay, directed the petitioners to pay Rs.1,000/- to the Tamil Nadu Legal Aid Services 4/5
Authority, Chennai on or before 13.08.2025. Since the order itself has been uploaded only on 13.08.2025, the petitioners were not not able to comply with the order of deposit. Therefore, the petitioners sought for extension of time to remit the amount.
3. In view of the above submission, the time for payment of costs is hereby extended and the petitioners are directed to pay costs on or before 26.08.2025 without fail. It is made clear that if the cost is not paid on or before 26.08.2025, these petitions shall stand dismissed without any further reference to this Court. On payment of costs, Registry is directed to number the main appeals, if it is otherwise in order and list the same for admission on 01.09.2025.
