ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Mr.T. Seenivasan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents.

3. This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 04.03.2022 seeking for revised family pension within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. According to the petitioner, she is entitled for revised family pension for her husband who was an employee with effect from 2016 onwards. She has given a representation for the said purpose to the 3rd respondent on 04.03.2022. Since the representation has not been considered till date, she has filed this writ petition.

5. Heard Mr.D. Muthukumarappa, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T. Seenivasan, Special Government Pleader for respondents.

6. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2/4

7. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2022 seeking for payment of revised family pension from the year 2016, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
