No.25844 of This Application coming on this day before this court for hearing, the court made the following order: This application has been filed to grant leave to sue the respondent herein as defendant and institute the suit C.S.Diary No.25844 of 2019 and thereby render justice. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that substantial cause of action arose within the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ jurisdiction of this Court as the fire occurred at the

showroom in T.Nagar at Chennai, claim was prepared by applicant's office in Chennai, surveyors conducted survey in the T.Nagar premises in Chennai and the subject matter of insurance viz, buildings, plant and machinery, furniture fixture and fittings, stocks of textiles and gold were in T.Nagar at Chennai. Except the defendant having its Divisional office in Coimbatore, substantial part of cause of action arose at Chennai, which is well within the jurisdiction of this Court.

Considering the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the application and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant, this applications is ordered as prayed for.
