Respondents PRAYER: Petition has been filed under section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue an order of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the 2nd respondent in Ref. Na.Ka. No.A3/5569/05 dated 06.09.2006 and quash the same and consequently directing the first respondent to extend the period of probation of the petitioner till January 1996 and to pass such further orders.

The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to issue an order of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the 2nd respondent in Ref. Na.Ka. No.A3/5569/05 dated 06.09.2006 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to extend the period of probation of the petitioner till January 1996.

2. Mr. Veera Kathiravan, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted a letter dated 05.01.2015 seeking permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
